Han's right hand er... wookie, molded head and chest piece with a hint of black for the nose and silver on his bandolier - if Lego are going to keep things simple then this is the way to do it.
CHEWIE BROWN CODE: sw011 SET/S: 3342, 7190, 7127
Here is the reddish-brown version - sometimes it's quite hard to distinct between the two, but you can clearly see the difference between the two here, other than the colour there's no difference between the two.
CHEWIE REDDISH CODE: sw011a SET/S: 4504, 7260, 10188, 8038, 6212, 10179
He's in this section because he's listed as human/cyborg, (ref; The Essential guide to Characters). The only real significant thing about this figure being the rear of his head and the revealing of his cybernetics.
LOBOT CODE: sw049 SET/S: 7119
What the hell is going on here with this one, what's with the face detail? Someone in Lego design having a laugh? Did ol' George allow this? Hate it!!!
TEN NUMB CODE: sw153 SET/S: 6208
Naff, even worse than the Gamorrean Guard fig.
EWOK TAN CODE: sw067 SET/S: 7139
Good detail, but no colour - but still I hate it...
EWOK BROWN CODE: sw050 SET/S: 7139
I don't like the torso on this one, where did the dog-tag come from? But the head is awesome, think this original appeared in EP1-3 first before the Classic's - could be wrong.
Whilst I don't think much of the NT series, who will ever forget the sabre dual between Yoda and Count Dooku, probable either the finest moment in all those films put together or the funniest.
YODA CODE: sw051 SET/S: 4502
I thought I liked the original Yoda released, (head wise that is), but this one is just plain awesome. The head itself is a more rubbery feel than a plastic one and the torso design a lot better.
Although this is from a clone wars play set, it's worthy an inclusion because of the great detail.
YODA CLONE WARS SET/S: NT
Here Wicket looks brilliant, facial features painted in and even his hood has the extra detail of stitching. Such a vast improvement - I get the feeling sometimes someone from Lego reads my comments, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who's voiced their dismay at the original offerings.
WICKET CODE: sw237 SET/S: 8038
A completely new character makes his debut and what a grand debut is is as well. Just like Wicket above, painted facial features and extra detail on the hood, the ceremonial staff finishes him off nicely.
CHIEF CHIRPA CODE: sw236 SET/S: 8038
Just like the others, painted facial features and unique coloured hood with details .
PAPLOO CODE: sw238 SET/S: 8038
Here Lego have really pushed the boat out and given us an excellent mini Mon Calamari. The head is just simply wonderful and the detail awesome, detail on both the front and back of the torso.
ADMIRAL ACKBAR CODE: sw247 SET/S: 7754
Either an officer or techie, this has the same brilliant head as Ackbar, but a different designed torso and base colour.
With these releases along with the newer Ewoks it prove two things, their production process are getting better, which is evident with their "Clone Wars" characters, or Lego themselves realise they can no longer justify knocking off blobs of plastic devoid of coloured features.
CALAMARI OFFICER CODE: sw248 SET/S: 7754
