I do wonder at time's what some actors think when they see mini versions of themselves on store shelves, do they think "WTF!" or give themselves a little smile knowing they're immortalised in a 4cm lump of plastic that looks nothing like them, but it is them ? Princess Leia is the only major female character of the original Trilogy and what a character she was too. Having undergone four hair changes in only five fig versions excluding variations, Leia for me is the only character to receive complete overhauls with every set release, in fact the only constant from each is apart from the fleshing out, is the face, this hasn't changed from her initial release of 2000's first Falcon!
This is so iconic and instantly recognisable hence the high rating. Back in the early days this sold for top whack and I admit I paid over the odds for it, but to hell with it, it was a must to have.
LEIA FALCON CODE: sw026 SET/S: 7190
Nothing different in this fig apart from the obvious skin tone change - still great though.
According to Bricklink this has a variant it lists as sw175a, the difference bring the hairpiece has less detail and smoother.
LEIA UCS CODE: sw175 SET/S: 10188, 10198, 10179
Not quite sure if this should have come with a brown cloak and maybe a more suited hair piece would have been better. But still a nice figure.
CLOUD CITY CODE: sw104 SET/S: 10123
Lego minifigs just got sexy with this one, this must of been a first for them and I'm sure must of cause a stir within the offices, cleavage and a bellybutton! Probably even more recognisable than the Falcon fig, I adore it.
And no PJ, that's not a walnut whip for a head piece.
SLAVE GIRL I CODE: sw070 SET/S: 4480
Wow and I thought the original yellow one was awesome, being fleshed out makes this one even better. A friend of mine called this the most sadist thing he's ever seen, I couldn't disagree with him more and made my case to try and change his mind about it! While I may of changed his thoughts about it slightly for it's icon status, I don't think he'll be rushing out to get hold of one though.
This is listed as sw085 and it's variant of sw085a, the difference being a gray neck bracket to attach a chain. As this was only released once in Jabba's Sail barge set both are correct.
SLAVE GIRL II CODE: sw085a SET/S: 6210
I like this figure a fraction more than the original, maybe because it's fleshed and the torso detail is excellent. Again instantly recognisable.
HOTH CODE: sw113 SET/S: 4504, 6212
It's been a while since we've had something different for Leia. Here we have a different hairpiece and a completely new torso design that's printed on the back also. Overall a nice fig.
