DARTH VADER Made by Gentle Giant Studio's and sold exclusively through Star Wars merchandising arm, these following maquette's, (or marquette), are strictly limited and originally sold out even before they were released. Only 1000 of these were produced, each individually numbered and the first 100 had exclusive Han Solo chaser heads included, this put's the price up considerably. Today they come up on eBay, but be prepared to dig deep as their price has ballooned quite a bit and Darth here rarely comes up for sale. This without the chase head would be in the region of £180.   STORMTROOPER Like Darth, only 1000 of these were produced and again the first 100 had the chase head. This was released at the same time and sold out before the actually released. Like Darth this without the chase head will still cost about £180. BLACKHOLE TROOPER This wasn't released by the merchandising arm of Star Wars, but via a convention called the "Japanese Blister Event Show June 2007" and restricted to only 500 pieces. This is an exact design copy of the Stormtrooper and extremely rare. Be prepared to pay in the region of £300 for this one.       BOBA FETT My favourite of the lot, released back through Star Wars and limited to 1500 pieces, again this proved very popular. The actual release date for this was put back several times and I can remember paying something like $60 or so dollars for it, which was a snip compared to the Darth and Stormtrooper I got on eBay - I think I even took out a VISA card just so I could purchase it. What narked me was being stung for an additional £30 in duty fee's when it did finally get delivered - but now you won't pick it up for much less than £100, so even with duty fee's it has picked up a little in price.     PILOT LUKE This unlimited maquette was released by Toy 'R' Us in the US, (I have found unconfirmed info that about 1500 of these were produced, how true that is I don't know). Available for roughly between £40 to £60, but shipping figures on eBay can vary bumping up the price considerably and but the easiest one to find out of the series.
